And then there were none

As long ago reference from a long ago novel by Agatha Christie (whose reading was triggered for me from a long ago movie – Gumnaam, one of the much better adaptations by Hindi Filmmakers of an English book, especially for its time).

Anyways the point is, these words always seem to hold a significance for me, call it an inherently pessimistic nature but this idea of everything negating itself in the end has always fascinated me.

These days I try to train myself to believe this negation as inveitable .

There were a bunch of friends who you thought would always be around…….and then there were none

There was an ideology, a group of people who believed in something, politicians who believed in the good of the country…….and then there were none.
